Apple outperformed its competitors and generated a surprising value of $2.38 million per employee in 2024.
The data comes from a Statista report published by Stocklytics. This means that if Apple distributed its 2024 revenue equally among its employees, each would receive over $2 million that year.
This reveals a lot about its lean workforce, capable of producing significant profit for the company. For comparison, Amazon generated only $410,000 per employee in the same period.

Further down the list are other big tech companies such as Meta and NVIDIA, which surpassed $2 million but still fell short of Apple; Google (Alphabet), which reached $1.91 million; and Microsoft, which generated $1.08 million per employee.
It is also worth mentioning that Apple recorded a slight 3% drop in annual profit in 2024, closing the year with $93.7 billion, almost the same as Google, which led the ranking with $94.2 billion.
However, Apple has about 164,000 employees and thus managed to be 25% more efficient than Google in terms of profit per employee.
